平安+幸福+財富=中華紅 Health+Happiness+Fortune=Chinese Red
The color red must be the traditional color for Chinese nationality (One of East Asian/yellow/amber ethnicities). The Chinese red represents joy, auspiciousness, fortune, happiness, fame and beauty.  During the Spring Festival of the Chinese Lunar New Year and Chinese wedding banquets, we design our homes and wedding venues in red decorations representing happiness around us.  When we give gifts of money to others during the Spring Festival of the Lunar Chinese New Year, we will put the money into a red pocket. This means wishing others earn many fortune and good luck.  We have started these habits hundreds of years ago, and these habits will be preserved and passed on forever.

紅色是中華民族的傳統顏色。紅色代表快樂、吉祥、財富、幸福、名譽和美麗。我們華人在農曆新年春節和婚宴喜事的時候，我們都把家裏和婚宴場地設計成全紅色的裝潢。我們華人在農曆新年春節給錢贈禮的時候，我們會把錢放進紅色的封袋。我們華人在幾百年前已經開始這些習俗，這些習俗都會保留下來繼續傳承永續直至永遠。
